FEIT’s Hand Sewn Slipper is a modern interpretation of a classic summer shoe – the moccasin. The seamless upper is built from one piece of leather, handstitched at the heel, which will mold and shape to the wearer's foot.
Vegetable-tanned leather. It is non-irritant, soft to touch, ages richly over time, and biodegrades. The leather remains neutral regardless of the temperature, and does not retain sweat or odor, allowing FEIT shoes to be worn barefoot and get better with age.
All FEIT shoes are made from start to finish by one master craftsman. The one-piece upper is sewn by hand directly to the midsole. A cork footbed and a bamboo shank stabilizer is added, then the leather outsole is cemented to the midsole using a natural, water-based glue. We refer to this process as a modified hand-sewn Goodyear construction.
FEIT products are made by hand. Their construction is selected to root the individual on firm ground by providing balance, stability, and longevity.
Designed by Tull Price in New York, all FEIT products are built entirely by hand from natural materials, produced in limited numbers with a carefully selected group of master craftspeople from around the world.
