FOB Factory Japan's french moleskin jacket is based on the emblematic French work jacket from the 1950s.
What is noteworthy is that the best part of the garment is made up of three pieces (front body, side body, and back body), creating a silhouette line that follows the body. Originally warm by railway employees or farmers and crafted in a loose and comfortable fit which allowed the wearer to perform manual labour. FOB Factory Japan has re-interpreted and elevated the classic Chore Jacket with a more modern silhouette consisting of a trimmer body, a shorter length and sleeves.
Crafted in Japan in a rugged and substantial 100% cotton high density moleskin. This type of moleskin used is called “German Leather,” which describes its peached skin like appearance. The fabric has an appearance close to suede leather which will patina overtime and earn a beautiful finish.
