Indigo SD-1001 15 oz GL3 Denim Classic Straight Jeans

Studio D'Artisan SD-1001 denim jean is crafted from 15 oz GL3 selvedge denim.  Cut from 15 oz heavyweight selvedge denim woven on vintage shuttle looms and developed using the brand's unique fabric-making techniques. 

GL3 denim has a rugged, textured character with pronounced slubbiness, natural surface irregularities, and a richly uneven texture typical of vintage-style denim. The denim is woven on a Toyoda Automatic Loom GL3, a vintage Japanese shuttle loom, using indigo rope-dyed warp yarns paired with undyed natural weft yarns. This combination creates a deep indigo base accented by visible white neps, where the natural weft yarns subtly peek through the surface. Organic speckling and softly mottled patterns appear throughout the fabric, giving it a distinctive, cloud-like depth.
