Original Madras Trading's cotton shirts pay homage to rich origin story of Madras cloth and its profound ties to both the American and Indian societies and their two tremendously distinct and yet interwoven cultures.
Their Jacquard Weave is a double-cloth construction produced on their jacquard looms using two-ply 20s count yarns to bind two layers of fabric, deliberately avoiding any loose ends.
Made by their team in India at their studio in Madras with pure cotton handwoven by weavers on proprietary handlooms and then cut and stitched by their in-house tailors.
