The Carter 9402 Camouflage Cotton Poplin Field Shirt Jacket from East Harbour Surplus is inspired by ranger jackets worn by US Army personnel during the Korean and Vietnam Wars, featuring an evolved fit and materials. This garment comes in an all-season 10 oz. Poplin Cloth loomed in Italy as a 2x2 plain-weave using fine yarns for a crisp finish, and is printed with an artistic floral camouflage in a versatile, classic palette. This shirt jacket is suited to those inspired by classic menswear, looking for an authentically produced piece crafted from timeless, tested militaria with a modern fit. One of East Harbour Surplus's new classic pieces, featuring materials and design reminiscent of the originals, includes a button front closure, a point collar with a top throat tab closure, a straight hem with a split side seam, double patch chest pockets with flap button closures offset with an enlarged patch velcro and pencil pocket on one side for storing various tools of the trade, lower hand patch pockets, pleated button cuffs, and olive corozo buttons throughout. Representing workshop production in Italy, the Carter is cleanly crafted with single and double-needle construction.
